Mr. Fulmer worked for Armour Meat Packing Co. in Oil City for severalyears before moving to Arizona in 1962 to work at the Asarco Silver Bellunit copper mine as a welder. He retired in 1986. In addition to his wife, Rebecca E. Fulmer, he is survived by twochildren, Vicki A. Ivy and Kevin L. Fulmer; four step-children, Orrin H.Foreman Jr., Rollin C. Foreman, Darlene R. Shockley and Elaine R. Carr;12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Roy E. Fulmer Jr. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz.

Cyphert, one of the best known citizens of Clarion, passed out to the beyond after an illness which lasted about a year and a half from a serious affection of the throat and mouth. During his illness he kept up a cheerful manner and was always glad to see his friends. A change for the worse occurred the first of last week and the end came rapidly but peacefully. Mr. Cyphert was born in Limestone township on June 16, 1846, the son of John J. and Elizabeth Cyphert. He grew to young manhood in the township and received the preliminaries ofhis education there. Afterwards he lived for some time in Greenville village but the larger portion of his life has been lived in Clarion. He servedas Deputy Prothonotary and had clerked in the office in the court house for many years and was probably one of the best posted men in the county about the records and affairs of the county. This experience also gave him a very extended acquaitance throughout the county, as he was a most obliging and accommodating clerk or friend and he was always doing a kindness for those who appealed to him. He was elected a Justice of the Peace for Clarion Borough in February 1903 and was re-elected in 1908 and served until he was elected County Commissioner at the fall election in 1908 and assumed the duties of the office in January 1909. Soon after his retirement from the Commissioners' office his sickness manifested itself and he has been unwell since. On December 25, 1867 Mr. Cyhert and Miss Eleanor P. Lewis were united in marriage at the bride's home in Williamburg, Monroe township, and Mrs. Cyphert and the following children survive; Mrs. Lon Campbell, Mrs. James Runyan, Herbert H., Benjamin P.,and Anthony Jr., of Clarion; Mrs. William C. Williams, Reidsburg; Mrs. Frank Brown and Mrs. A. A. Turner, Pittsburgh. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Peter Cyphert, New Derry' John J., Brookville; George V., McKeesport; Mrs. Lizzie Bridge and Mrs. Raymond Aaron, Kingsville. Mr. Cyphert served in the army during the war of 1861-65 in Capt. Tanner's Independent Company and was honorably discharged with the company at the expiration of its enlistment. He was a member of the G.A.R., Capt. J.B. Loomis Post of Clarion, and for several yearsserved as Commander of the Post. He was also President of the Clarion County Soldier's Association which position he has held for several years and has officated at their reunions in Clarion. He was also affiliated with the Baptisit church of Clarion. The funeral was held last Saturday afternoon, the services being conducted by Dr. John Ballentine. The G.A.R. Post had charge of the exercised at the grave, using their ritual, and a detail of pall bearers was appointed from the Col. John Keatley Camp, Sons of Veterans. The body was laid to rest in the Clarion cememtery. Mrs. Cyphert and the family desire to return their heartfelt thanks to the friends and neighbors who so kindly ministered to them in this time of great sorrow.
