- Obituary*: Solomon K Beer's obituary was BEER S K - 19 October 1905 - S. K. Beer died at his home near Limestone township, Thursday, October 12, 1905, after a severe illness. Mr. Beer was born at Shannondale, may 15, 1840, being in his 66th year at the time of his death. He was married to Miss M. Cyphert and to them were born eight children, six of whom with his wife survive to mourn the loss of a loving father and husband. The children are Clark and Virginia, of California, Milton, of Marieaville; Mrs Scott Courson, of Curlsville; Mrs Wlter Hughes, of Avaion, and Mrs E. E. Shaffer, of Wheeling, W. Va. Charles died in 1896 and May in 1901. Mr Beer united with the Baptist church when but a young man and was a faithful worker in church and Sabbath school. He was always ready nd willing to do what he could for the furtherance of the cause of Christ. The funeral services were held Monday morning October 16 at ten o'clock and were conducted by Rev. F.P. Britt, of Corisca, assisted by Rev. John Ballenzine, of Clarion. The services were largely attended. The interment was made in the Limestone cemetery. The wife and family have the sympathy of a large cicle of friends and neighbors in their bereavements.9
