  I do not have any other information on John Parker. I know that one of the children of William Calvin -- brother to my Thomas Jefferson - moved to Mustang, Oklahoma. She was Essie Parker Smith. I believe she recently died.
  
  The first wife of Thomas Jefferson is buried in Love County, Oklahoma.

  William C. Parker was born 1817/18 in Alabama. On 3 Oct 1850, at age 33, he
  was in Itawamba County, MS with Evilina (age 33 ) Marie/Mariah (13), Mary
  (8), L.C. (6), Amanda M. (4) and Monro (2) According to this census,
  (unless I wrote it down wrong) Marie/Mariah and Mary were born in South
  Carolina. L.C., Amanda M. & Monro were born in Mississippi.
  
  William C. was found again on the 29 June 1860 Itawamba Co., MS census at
  age 42. Listed with him were Elizabeth (age 23 born in Alabama), Columbus
  (16), Amanda (14), Minerva (11), Lucy C. (10), John (2) and Matilda (3
  months). Evilina is not listed in this census, nor were Marie/Mariah or
  Mary.
  
  I believe I have located William C. Parker on the 1840 Lawrence, Alabama
  census. There was one male age 20-30, two females age 0-5 and one female
  age 20-30. Due to this census, I believe there was perhaps another daughter
  born between Marie/Mariah and Mary.
  
  There's lots of unanswered questions here. Could William C. have married
  twice? First to Evilina then to Elizabeth? Was Marie/Mariah's (?) name
  actually Mariah Elizabeth? If so, did Evilina die before this 1860 census
  was taken leaving daughter Mariah [Elizabeth (?)] to keep house? According
  to Itawamba, MS Marriages, Births, Christenings and Deaths (Microfilm #
  M516941, Batch 1472) there is a William C. Parker married to Elizabeth
  Shields 13 Aug 1856.
  
  I would like to know more information on this William C. Parker and
  Elizabeth Shields.

Vernon; and seven grandchildren. Masonic and services by the Patchogue Bay Power squadron were held Friday in Raynor's Chapel, Sayville, followed by religious services Saturday with the Rev. Philip Rohrbacher officiating. Interment was in Washington Memorial Park, Coram.⁹

Marie's husband dies a short time after their marriage and in the 1865 census we find Marie living with Jacob and his wife. This appears to have made the wifes brothers very mad and they took Jacob to court and had the marriage annulled. Jacob and Marie then leave the parish and I've lost them from there.
  NOTE: Brynhild was a small pox survivor and 20 years older than Jacob.
  NOTE: Original LDS submission had place of birth in Lesja, but subsequent research shows the actual place to be in Dovre.
